Description: This exceptional folding knife by Andre Thorburn features a stainless damascus blade formed from Twist pattern Damasteel. The dramatic, high contrast blade has been hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The scales combine Arizona desert ironwood with black G10. Rather than using three separate butt-joined pieces, Andre created the Micarta handle and inlaid the sections with exhibition grade ironwood. This resulting scales are very strong and are set on blue anodized titanium liners. The right side is inlaid with a stainless steel pocket clip, set for tip-up carry.
The blade is perfectly centered and has an incredibly smooth action due to the IKBS (Ikoma Koth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with virtually no blade play. Exceptional fit throughout.
