Description: Collectors of Anders' work know that he has some of the tightest tolerances of any maker, anywhere.
Anders collaborated on this knife with renowned Swedish bladesmith Conny Persson. Conny forged this tightly twisted damascus blade from carbon steels. The sterling silver guard has been textured and antiqued. This transitions nicely into the artifact handle. The fossil walrus ivory handle is exceptional, with cream and caramel tones. In the 1700 and 1800s, Inuit used fossil walrus ivory pieces for a wide range of tools, from fishing weights to sled runners, to fire starters. This ivory artifact used to be a small adze or axe and was found in Labrador, a region of Atlantic Canada. The handle is secured with a sterling silver pin. Exceptional work throughout.
