Description: Journeyman Smith Gary Rodewald has long been one of the makers that I've enjoyed. His eye for design is only matched by his skill of implementation -- with Bowie knives long being one of his favorites.
The long, clip point blade was forged from Gary's own Laddered W's pattern Damascus. By heat bluing the steel, Gary brings out the captivating pattern. A differential heat treatment further adds to this Bowie's edge holding. The nickel silver oval guard and ferrule separate the dramatic blade from the solid fossil walrus ivory handle. Exceptional work throughout!
