Description: South African knifemaker Andre van Heerden creates an amazing folder -- and at a price that could never be found from an American maker.
The wharncliffe blade is formed from 12C27 stainless steel and will have exceptional edge holding. The blade is easily opened using the flipper style opener. It is well centered and has silky action. Bolsters are formed from Damascus by Ettoré Gianferarri, assuring that the patterns will be unique and different from those generally found on the American market. Exhibition grade mammoth ivory scales show off deep blues and greens with only a hint of caramel. Blue anodized titanium liners have been fileworked and surround a mirror polished stainless backbar. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
