Description: Jim has specializes in hunters and this has allowed him to refine his designs to an exceptional level. The spine has been fileworked for a secure purchase for your thumb while working. A distal tapered spine assures a perfect balance in the hand. The Weinand Damascus blade has been hollow ground for easy edge maintenance. The blade has been heat treated by a true expert in ATS-34, Jerome Weinand. Red spacer material is used between the fossil mammoth ivory scales and tang to adjust to changes in temperature and humidity when out in the field. The satin finished stainless steel bolsters have been dovetailed to the fossil mammoth ivory scales for a perfect fit. Mosaic pins. Exceptional fit and finish.
