Description: This dagger is a dramatic collaborative work by Dennis DesJardins (deceased) and Bob Crowder. It is excellent work and is in mint condition. Mokume and Damascus steel were created by Dennis' good friend Gerome Weinand. The full tang has been fileworked and distal tapered in a broad vine pattern. Double mokume bolsters are secured with copper pins and are dovetailed to the fossil walrus ivory scales. The scales have been scrimmed by Turning Bear. The scrimshaw appears to have been influenced by Frazetta and is highly detailed. Where the saber tooth tiger's leg moves across a pin, the pin has been engraved with the tiger's fur. Excellent work throughout.
