Description: Raymond Richard's designs have a timeless grace about them that comes from a family heritage of knifemaking. The upswept blade on this Bowie style fighter hand forged from 9260 carbon steel and shows a differential temper. The result is an edge that is extremely hard and will have truly exceptional edge retention, whereas the spine is softer and supportive. A distal taper assures that the weight is pulled back out of the handle.
The sculpted fittings are forged from 1018 carbon steel and meet neatly with the desert ironwood spacer. The handle is formed from osage orange, with a nice bold figure. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
