Description: Jeff Driscoll has an amazing sense of design, creating unique knives that are extremely well executed. He pulls heavily on Nordic knives, using blades from the best bladesmiths from Nordic countries. Poul Strande's blade on this piece has excellent color and will have great edge retention.
The octagonal handle is finished off with a "fire tree" on the front of the bolster. This was created by inlaying copper in nickel silver. Extremely comfortable in the hand, the spacers bring the weight to the center for a secure hold.
The lantern style sheath has been weighted at the base so that it sits securely on a table in an upright position for a dramatic display. Cutouts in the sheath show the blade when inserted into the sheath. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
