Description: Roger has a network of materials suppliers far superior to any knifemaker that I have ever known. Here, he has brought together a fossil walrus cheek bone in the shape of an eagle's head with mammoth rib bone. The cheek bone has not be modified from its natural weather worn shape. The antiqued sterling silver bolster wraps gracefully around the blade for a perfect fit. The mammoth rib bone has a beautiful texture of mixed lights and darks. All this, with the fit and finish that I have come to expect from Roger!
