Description: Corbet (C.R.) Sigman, who passed away during the summer of 2006, made spectacular knives. This drop point hunter was likely made in the ‘70s or ‘80s. The knife was meticulously cared. It is in as new condition possible for a 40 year old knife.
The drop point blade is hand ground 154CM stainless steel with a meticulous mirror polish. A hollow grind ensures a keen, easy to maintain edge. 154CM provides good edge holding and chip resistance, while maintaining high corrosive resistance. This makes it perfect for a general use knife.
The handle is warm toned rosewood, fit seamlessly to front and rear nickel silver polsiers. Alternating black G10 and nickel spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes.
Excellent work throughout!
