Description: Up and coming maker, Jordan Buckley has tremendous attention to detail. Jordan, who is 19 years old (as of the spring of 2023) is a Washington native. His passion for bladesmithing is clear throughout all his work. His work and aesthetic has tremendous refinement despite only having been making knives for 5 years. Perhaps it is no surprise that he aspires to become a mastersmith by 25!
This EDC hunter shows Jordan's significant skills at the forge. The blade is made from his own forged Cu-Mai combining a high performing 1084 carbon steel core with 15n20 carbon steel sides and a layer of copper in between. The combination of the dark etched core and the bright copper is extremely dramatic. Jordan's maker mark is on the left side of the blade.
The handle is blue dyed and stabilized curly mango, secured to the full tang using red G-10 pins. The tang has been fileworked by hand and filled with black epoxy for an elegant appearance. The contoured handle is extremely comfortable. This is a knife you won't want to put down!
Excellent work throughout!
