Description: I was excited when Mastersmith David Lisch introduced me to Mike Clark Jr back in 2018. Since then, his work has continued to show his tremendous attention to detail. Given the level of work, it is no surprise that Mike easily passed his JS Test at the 2019 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.
The hand forged blade features a classic trailing point. High performing 1084 carbon steel ensures a keen, long lasting edge. It features an heirloom quality hand rubbed satin finish.
The handle is presentation grade ringed gidgee (Acacia cambagei). Gidgee is an exceptional wood for knife handles and is considered to be one of Australia's most beautiful timbers. It has tremendous stability even when exposed to fluctuations in humidity and temperature. It is among the densest woods in the world and has a beautiful curl similar to Hawaiian koa. The contoured handle is extremely comfortable and accommodates multiple grips for a wide variety of skinning tasks. A bright paracord lanyard is included to make the knife easy to spot if dropped while out in the field.
This knife is accompanied by a custom hand stitched leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
