Description: South African knifemaker Hennie du Plessis creates an exceptional knife. This upswept hunter shows his tremendous attention to all the details. The fit and finish is impeccable, providing an excellent showcase of exotic materials.
The blade is damascus san mai, forged from carbon steels by Chris King. The 1070 carbon steel core ensures a keen, long lasting edge. A gun blacked finish provides high contrast. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
Handle scales are Arizona desert ironwood set on a full tang for strength and durability. The scales meet with mosaic damascus bolsters in an elegant arc. The gently rounded handle feels sturdy and fills your hand perfectly. By using torx screws, Hennie ensures the knife can be taken apart if repairs are ever needed.
This hunting knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather custom sheath.
Excellent work throughout!
