Description: I was excited when Mastersmith David Lisch introduced me to Mike Clark Jr back in 2018. Since then, his work has continued to show his tremendous attention to detail. Given the level of work, it is no surprise that Mike easily passed his JS Test at the 2019 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.
The hand forged blade features a classic trailing point. High performing 1084 carbon steel ensures a keen, long lasting edge. It features an heirloom quality hand rubbed satin finish.
The handle is formed from red mallee burl (Eucalyptus oleosa). This warm toned Australian wood is among my favorite woods found anywhere. The piece used to create this hand is particularly dramatic. The wood is recessed from the rounded full tang.
This knife is accompanied by a custom hand stitched leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
