Description: Brian Sellers makes his knives in Dothan, Alabama. He has quickly become well known for his fantastic fighters and bowies. Sellers even won Best Fighter at BladeShow 2019, which is a huge honor. We are very excited to be able to offer Brian's spectacular work on BladeGallery!
This Recurve Fighter is extremely comfortable, compact enough to carry, but large enough to take care of business. The upswept blade culminates into a razor sharp tip while the recurve gives the knife plenty of cutting and chopping power.
The upswept blade is hand forged from Sellers' own damascus, incorporating carbon steels. Seller's maker mark is shown on the left side of the blade.
The handle is hand contoured Arizona desert ironwood (Olneya tesota). This dense wood has a nice combination of mid-tone and dark browns with a nice warm hue. It is seated with hidden bolt rivets. The full tang has been meituclously distal tapered. A nickel spacer adds nice contrast. The handle is designed to swell at the palm to provide excellent grip, evoking the feeling of an old school revolver. The handle is finished with a carved, integral damascus guard. Creating integral knives shows tremendous skill and attention to detail.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
