Description: Dawson Knives was started in 1973 by Barry Dawson after completing his tour of duty in Vietnam. Today, three generations of his family help him run the company. Dawson knives are handcrafted in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty. This knife has been meticulously cared for in a private collection. It is in new condition and by all appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
This small drop point utility is a perfect daily carry. The 2-1/4 inch blade will be legal in most jurisdictions, and is just enough blade to get most tasks easily done.
The blade is damascus forged from 52100, 15n20, and nickel to provide excellent edge holding. It is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. Jimping on the spine provides traction and moves into vine patter filework.
Dyed and stabilized maple burl handle scales are secured to the full tang using two pins. A lanyard can be added to the back of the knife.
To keep the knife close at hand, a Kydex sheath is included. The sheath features a fold over pocket clip so that the sheath can be carried in the front pocket.
Nice work throughout!
