Description: The William Henry brand earned its fame for creating exclusive and award-winning pocket knives and transforming high end tools into a superb piece of functional jewelry. The seamless integration of classic natural materials, precious metals & gemstones, and state-of-the-art alloys is a hallmark of William Henry’s work. What makes this brand so distinctive is that it has proudly retained the aura and feel of an artisan workshop, where most pieces are designed and created exclusively in limited and often unique editions. This folder has been in a private collection. It is in new condition and by all appearances, it could have made it yesterday.
This William Henry Model B12 features a spearpoint blade made from Wave damascus surrounding a core of ZDP-189 stainless steel hardened to 67 Hrc. ZDP-189 is one of the knife industry’s hottest, hardest and highest performing knife steels today. 3% of its structure is pure carbon which makes the steel harder and in turn furthers its edge retention capacity. The blade can be easily opened using the right-handed thumbstud that features a diamond inlay.
The scales are formed from Zinc-Matrix turquoise. This turquoise is made from Kingman Turquoise found in an Arizona mine that was first discovered over a thousand years ago. The turquoise is infused with zinc which creates a striking contrast to the soft blue tones and gives it additional stability. Integral front and rear bolsters are hand carved from sterling silver by renowned carver Lee Downey into an eagle motif. The button is inlaid with a matching diamond. Barrel spacers keep the knife light and easy to clean. The knife is finished with a braided leather lanyard with custom stainless steel beads.
The knife is accompanied by the original presentation wood box, keeping the knife safe when stored. A leather pocket pouch with pocket clip is also included to keep the knife safe when in the pocket. The knife also includes a 4 GB flashdrive that has a video about the William Henry brand.
