Description: This wharncliff utility was made by New York knifemaker Greg Dash (Dashevsky). Greg, who was born in Ukraine, has been in the US since 1990. Dash studied with renowned knifemaker Bob Dozier.
Greg made the blade from mosaic damascus forged in Pennsylvania by Robert Eggerling. The pattern is a nice mix of fine and bold patterns and immediately grabs attention. It features a high flat grind for high performance cutting.
Gaboon ebony (Diospyros crassiflora) scales are set on a distal tapered full tang, ensuring a perfect balance. Stainless steel bolsters meet seamlessly to the scales. The left bolster is marked with Dash's makers mark.
This custom knife is accompanied by a custom belt sheath made from caiman leather.
Excellent work throughout!
