Description: Michigan knifemaker Robert Nelson Parker makes fixed blades of all kinds, but particularly enjoys making Loveless style knives. The Hide-Out was one of Bob's most popular models and Robert Nelson Parker brought Bob's vision to completion in this exceptional version of the Hide-Out model. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made sometime between 2001 and 2003. It is in brand new, unused condition.
The blade is mirror polished ATS-34 stainless steel and features a classic hollow ground boot grind. Robert's maker mark is on the left side of the blade. The blade still has its original cutting edge and has never been used to cut or resharpened.
Mammoth molar handle scales are set to the distal tapered full tang using corby bolts. The scales were contoured to provide a comfortable and secure grip. Red fiber liners add a nice contrast and help the mammoth molar scales adjust to humidity and temperature changes. The corby bolts and 416 stainless steel guard were hand engraved and inlaid with 24k gold by Christian DeCamillis. The engraving shows intricate detail and nicely complements the knife without being ostentatious. This is a knife that you won't want to put down!
Excellent work throughout!
