Description: Legendary knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt created this exceptional lockback folder. Ken is among the most desired makers in the custom knife market.
The spearpoint blade is flat ground from CPM-154 stainless steel. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it while remaining tough and chip resistant. The blade can be easily opened using the ambidextrous extended nail nick on each side.
The handle combines 416 stainless steel with sambar stag. The stag has an elegant natural texture that provides just enough grip while remaining comfortable. 416 stainlerss steel bolsters are fluted in the middle. Like the blade, the bolsters feature a hand rubbed satin finish. The bolsters are inspired by the Art Deco movement, an era where Ken finds much of his inspiration. Hand domed stainless pins set the scales on stainless steel liners. Ken's maker's mark can been found on the inside of the backspacer. Exceptional work throughout!
