Description: Bradford Knives are made in Kent, Washington. Bradford Larkin's background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in this high performance, elegant chef's knife.
The chef's knife is the general purpose knife in the kitchen. Long and slim, it is suited to preparation of meats as well as chopping and slicing. This knife has plenty of finger clearance for the rocking chop needed to chop onions and other vegetables. Whether a home gourmet or a professional chef, this is a perfect choice when chopping, slicing and dicing.
The blade is formed from ultra-high performance Bohler M390 stainless steel that has been professionally heat treated to 61 Hrc. It is flat ground and has beautifully thin geometry for high performance slicing and chopping. Corners along the spine and choil have been nicely rounded for comfortable, extended use.
Aerospace carbon fiber handle scales are carved to swell at the middle, move into a slimmer waist, swelling again at the back, ensuring a secure, comfortable grip. The scales are tapered thin at the front to comfortably accommodate a pinch grip. Bradford's microtexturing provides a nonslip grip even if the handle gets wet.
A leather sheath is included to protect the knife during storage and transport.
Excellent work throughout!
