Description: As an avid hunter, Randy knows how a good hunting knife should perform. He loves to "field-test" his designs and feels that a quality knife should not only look great, but perform well as a tool. The knife should be extremely comfortable to hold and perform at a level that is extremely hard to find elsewhere. This knife is no exception.
The hollow ground ATS-34 stainless steel blade will maintain a superior edge and will be easy to re-sharpen, due to the hollow grind. Hardened to 59-60 Rc, Randy has ensured that the blade will keep its edge through the most difficult tasks.
The handle combines Arizona desert ironwood (Olneya tesota) with stabilized buckeye burl (Aesculus spp.). The combination of the warm toned ironwood and swirling figured buckeye is tremendous.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched brown leather sheath by Sonja Lee.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
