Description: This exceptional hunter was created by Journeyman Smith Andre Klen. Andre lives in San Paolo, Brazil and brings an amazing degree of craftsmanship to his work. He has quickly become among the best makers in South America.
The 5-1/3 inch blade was forged to shape from Klen's own carbon steel damascus. The high contrast damascus immediately grabs attention. An appleseed grind ensures a durable, keen cutting edge.
The handle is formed from stabilized spalted maple. The presentation grade wood has a dramatic, swirling figure. The contoured handle is extremely comfortable and shows great attention to detail. Sculpting wood with hard transition lines is extremely time consuming and shows a highly skilled artist. This is done to perfection. It is a knife you won't want to put down. The handle features an heirloom fit to the elegant hot blued guard.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched, hand tooled leather custom sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
