I started to make knives 15 years ago and I have been a full time knife maker beginning in 2005. I started to make knives for hunting and fishing, as most knife makers do in Sweden. I use natural materials and make Nordic style knives with colours in the handle. I frequently use Damascus steel forged by makers from Sweden. Mammoth, giraffe bone, and curly masur birch often find their homes on my handles.
Since 2002, I have been a member in the Swedish Knife Makers Association and been vice chairman for two years. I am interested in developing knife making in Sweden and anywhere where people are making knives. I regularly write articles for the Knivmakaren, the knife magazine in Sweden. Many of my articles are about other makers. I like to visit makers at their shops and write about their philosophy and knife making. Such work with other knife makers is important as it gives me inspiration in my own knife making. This is my life!
