Journeyman Smith Mike Clark JrJourneyman Smith Mike Clark Jr. grew up on a small farm in Washington State raising chickens and turkeys. He learned the value of hard work and working with his hands from his father, a custom home builder. When he wasn’t helping his dad or taking care of animals, Mike spent as much time as he could playing out in the woods. Throughout his childhood, he learned the value of a good knife.

One day at a 4-H event, Mike met a working blacksmith. He was immediately intrigued. By 12 years old, he had a nice coal forge and a 120lb anvil. He was always looking to learn more and make better knives.

In the summer of 2019, Mike was honored to become an American Bladesmith Society journeyman smith.
