Description: Brian Tighe creates unique, functional and visually appealing knives of the highest quality. His blades are the result of 25 years of experience in metallurgy artistry and tactical expertise. His new Tighe Down model is an exceptionally lightweight, but full size model that carries well in the pocket and feels great in the hand.
The 4 inch harpoon tipped blade is made from stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. The high contrast pattern is immensely captivating and will provide a keen, long lasting edge. The blade can be easily deployed using either the ambidextrous flipper tab or the dual thumb studs. The button lock makes one-handed closing a breeze.
The ergonomic carbon fiber handle has been fluted, providing a beautiful, yet incredibly comfortable grip. Most makers would have created two slabs of carbon fiber and set a spacer material in between. This integral handle is machined from one solid piece of carbon fiber, showing Brian's tremendous skill as a machinist. This construction keeps the knife incredibly lightweight while providing exceptional durability and strength. A titanium pivot collar surrounds the custom pivot. The knife is finished with a matching fluted titanium deep carry pocket clip that is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
An exceptional knife for daily carry or the collection!
