Description: Back in 1997 Steve Skiff made a hatchet for his son in his metal fabrication shop. This led to making a few hunting knives for family and friends. Before he knew it, Skiff was attending knife shows and attempting to learn everything he could about the craft of making knives. These days Steve is known for making high end folding knives with a high attention to detail and an incredible fit and finish rarely seen elsewhere. He is a voting member of the American Knifemakers Guild and belongs to the Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association (NCCA).
This custom Culprit #7 from Skiff shows his incredible machining skills and broad understanding of good design. The blade is made from Odinheim pattern damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. The resulting pattern is captivating and will provide excellent edge retention. The blade rotates open on caged ceramic bearings and has incredibly smooth action!
The handle is constructed from titanium that is machined and differentially anodized. A Black Timascus pivot ring adds extra flash into this design. The scales surround a matching Black Timascus backbar. The screw hardware is anodized blue. The Black Timascus pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Absolutely exceptional fit and finish throughout!
