Description: Cliff Parker is well-known for his themed folders, possessing the skill and patience to bring his detailed and technically complex ideas to fruition. This small, elegant folder features intricate images of buffalo, forged directly into the mosaic damascus bolsters. This is combined with black buffalo horn scales and anodized titanium liners.
Cliff creates knives that push the limits of what is possible -- striving to make a small, compact knife that is also durable and has perfect action. He created a very sleek profiled liner lock folder with a total thickness of approximately .31". Due to the complexity of the mechanism, liner locks tend to be fairly thick. Over the years, Cliff has spent a considerable amount of time testing and experimenting with his designs to create a knife that is sturdy, but as low profile as possible.
The precision forged steel has remarkable depth and movement, making the fine pattern grab attention from a distance, yet reveal an increasing complexity upon closer examination. The bolsters, formed from mosaic damascus, meet perfectly to buffalo horn scales. The jet black horn is nicely fluted where they meet with the bolsters. The scales are set on anodized titanium liners. The thumb stud is inlaid with polished buffalo horn.
The fit and finish are as good as it gets - stunning work, through and through!
