Description: Award winning Swedish knifemaker Henry Hildén created this exquisite sole authorship Nordic hunter. The fit and finish throughout is exceptional.
The blade was forged from carbon steels and combines three bars of damascus. The spine and edge bars are a fine explosion pattern. The central bar is a bold twist pattern.
The handle combines presentation grade Arizona desert ironwood with mammoth ivory. The cross-cut ivory shows off its inherent figure and provides tremendous contrast. Sterling spacers formed from alternating black fiber and sterling silver assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. A textured sterling silver habaki separates the blade and handle. The handle is completed with a damascus end plate and finial.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish leather sheath. The loop is sealed with a damascus pin.
Exceptional work throughout from one of the great Swedish knifemakers!
