Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius creates a truly exceptional knife. This Swedish Bowie shows his skills at their best.
The multi-bar damascus blade was forged to shape by Ukrainian bladesmith Konstantin Lysenko. Beginning with carbon steels, Lysenko forged a complex feather pattern and surrounded this with a firecracker pattern edge and spin. The blade alone is absolutely exceptional!
The elegant handle combines crosscut walrus ivory, textured aluminum, dyed and stabilized birch, scrimshawed mammoth ivory, and carved and textured ironwood. The combination of materials is not only beautiful, but also very comfortable.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish wood sheath with a leather upper. The redwood burl was meticulously carved and textured.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
