Description: This traditional Nordic style puukko is a tremendous knife. It has been in a private collection and is in new condition. The walrus ivory has some checking along the top and bottom of the handle which appears to be stable. The knife has never been used to cut and by all appearances it could have been made this year.
The pool and eye pattern damascus blade was forged by renowned Danish knifemaker Poul Strande. It features a high performing Scandi grind.
The handle is formed from ancient walrus ivory. The gentle swell of the handle fits perfectly to the palm -- you won't want to put it down! A false tang is formed from ebony wood, adding excellent contrast. The handle is completed with a leather lanyard and ancient walrus ivory bead.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Nordic leather single-seamed sheath.
