Description: Fred Ott's work is always something that I enjoy, but his silver inlaid knives are always among my favorites.
The damascus blade was forged to shape beginning with 1080 and 15N20 carbon steels. The upswept blade provides a deep, efficient belly for easy skinning. A short clip assists to create a detail-oriented tip.
The curly maple handle has been nicely carved and is exceptionally comfortable to grasp. Fine silver inlay meticulously displays spiraling vines and leaves. The guard is formed from satin finished nickel silver.
Accompanied by a hand stitched leather sheath.
Tremendous fit and finish throughout!
