Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. This Puukko shows his skill in design and implementation.
The stainless steel bade was ground and polished by renowned Swedish knifemaker Anders Hedlund. Anders is well known both for his sole-authorship knives and his skill as an engraver. The right side of the blade is meticulously engraved in floral scroll.
The elegant handle combines dyed and stabilized masur birch with cross cut mammoth ivory. The main section of the handle is a rich, deep brown. A spacer, also formed from masur birch is dyed red. The cross cut mammoth ivory adds a nice accent. Hand domed sterling silver pins provide contrast.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
