Description: This Drop Point Hunter is an exceptional example of D'Holder's work. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It is in new condition and by all appearances could have been made yesterday.
The ATS-34 stainless steel blade has been meticulously hollow ground and mirror polished. The spine is hand fileworked.
The stacked handle combines ancient oosic with stabilized redwood burl. Thin nickel and black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The knife feels great in the hand - a swell at the palm makes it very comfortable in a variety of hand-holds. The front bolster is formed from nickel silver and has been meticulously engraved in floral scroll by Pat Holder. A leather lanyard and amber bead complete the handle. A true classic!
The knife is accompanied by a fancy concho sheath with basket weave tooling.
