Description: This pendant is the work of Mastersmith Shane Taylor. The pendant clearly shows the influence of a steam punk aesthetic on Shane's work. Stressed copper and reticulated silver surround a vintage clock face. The face appears as if the surrounding shell was ripped and melting away, exposing the frozen timepiece beneath.
The back of the pendant exposes vintage Waltham pocket watch clockworks encased in a skeletonized shell of reticulated silver with stressed and antiqued copper. Shane's maker's mark is delicately engraved on the reverse of the piece. Clearly Shane has captured the embodiment of the passage of time in this piece.
The pendant measures approximately 1-1/4 inches in diameter. It is suspended by a 309 inch sterling silver chain with copper fittings.
Truly an exceptional piece crafted by Master Bladesmith Shane Taylor!
