Description: Mastersmith David Anders makes an exceptional knife and this Damascus Fighter is no exception! It has been in a private collection since it was made in the spring of 2014. It has been meticulously cared for and has never been used to cut. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday.
The high layer count damascus blade was forged to shape from 15n20 and 1084 carbon steels. By forging the blade to shape, David ensures grain refinement for a keen, long lasting edge. The clip is brought just shy of a fully sharpened edge.
The handle is formed from a solid piece of stabilized maple burl and is set with a central stainless steel hidden bolt rivet. The oval guard, spacers, and pommel are formed from 416 stainless steel. David's attention to detail really shines through on the fittings, each of which have been meticulously hand fileworked and polished.
The knife is accompanied by a leather sheath made by Kenny Rowe. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
