Description: Australian born knifemaker Glenn Waters spent much of his adult life in Japan. I am very pleased that after his recent return to Australia he is again making his uniquely Japanese influenced knives.
This compact folder combines a VG-10 blade with a titanium frame. The blade is textured on the flats and heat colored to acquire a scorched look. It has a slight curve for aggressive cutting. It is easily opened using the double thumb stud, which also acts as a stop pin.
The left frame is Timascus (damascus forged from different grades of titanium), milled and heat colored for a dramatic iridescent effect. Shallow holes randomly drilled into the titanium give the handle a "wet" look. The right frame is solid titanium. Choosing titanium keeps the knife light and fast. A Timascus pocket clip is anodized to match the handle and mounted for tip-up carry.
A very unique and colorful little folder!
