Description: Cliff Parker has become well known for creating some of the thinnest and most detailed knives found anywhere. His attention to detail allows him to work with much tighter tolerances than found in other makers. This is among the longest (if not the largest) folder that Cliff has made to date.
The blade and bolsters are formed from matching damascus Cliff forged from carbon steels. The high contrast steel is immediately captivating. A distal taper to the blade ensures optimal balance.
The mammoth bark ivory scales have gorgeous coloration with a nice combination of blues and caramel tones. Deep blue tones such as this are not only particularly attractive, but they are also extremely rare and desirable. Detailed fileworked titanium liners are anodized to a gold hue and surround the damascus backbar. Heat blued screws secure the scales and bolsters. The blade is well centered and has silky smooth action. The single thumb stud is set with a matching cabochon of mammoth ivory.
A marvelous piece with attention paid to every detail.
