Description: This last year, Mastersmith Shane Taylor has created some amazing steampunk influenced pendants. This necklace was inspired by his dragon series of knives.
"Dragon's Eye" is a pendant created from a pure silver casing with an irregular lip around the perimeter. Inside this is a ring of twisted copper 'teeth'. An orange dragon's eye with a vertical black pupil eerily peers out of bronze skin. Shane used a taxidermy eye for a King Cobra for this dramatic effect.
The chain itself is created of fine copper pieces resembling tiny bones, linked together and culminating in two larger copper rings which form the clasp. Total length of the chain is approximately 24-1/2 inches. All metals have been antiqued to appear aged, and this truly appears to be a relic! Definitely an "eye-catching" piece…
