Description: Journeyman Smith Bruce Bingenheimer makes an exceptional hunting knife. This knife is designed for outdoor use but will feel at home in virtually any collection.
The blade was forged to shape from W2 carbon steel. A differential heat treatment ensures a strong blade with a soft, supportive spine and a keen, long lasting edge. The blade was heat treated using a traditional Japanese technique where the spine is coated with insulating clay prior to quenching. The undulating heat treatment line is called a hamon. A triple quench and triple temper provides exceptional performance. The nickel silver guard is hand satin finished. The Arizona desert ironwood handle is carved for an ergonomic grip. Accompanied by a hand stitched and textured pouch style leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
