Description: Alan Warren created this exceptional boot knife. The stainless steel blade is CPM154CM stainless steel. The PM steel results in a smaller grain structure -- and therefore a keener, longer lasting cutting edge. By heat treating the blade to Hrc 60-61 and finishing with a sub zero quench, Alan gets the best possible out of the steel. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality.
A stainless steel guard separates the ironwood handle from the blade. Ancient ivory spacers are carved for a particularly dramatic appearance. The handle swells gently at the palm for a comfortable, secure grip. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
