Description: This very rare early Walter Brend hunter has been in a private collection since it was first purchased from Brend back in 1981. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have been made yesterday. It was made in the first year that Walter was making knives.

The mirror polished blade is 440C stainless steel. It features the swooping grind that would make Brend a household name in the custom knife world. The spine is hand fileworked.
The handle is formed from buffalo horn. Nickel silver pinwork at the butt brings in exceptional contrast. Alternating layers of black fiber and nickel silver assist the knife to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The nickel silver guard is precision fit to the blade and handle. The knife is accompanied by its original hand stitched leather sheath. Exceptional work throughout! A very rare find!
