Description: This boot dagger was made by Kevin Harvey back in 1996. It has been in a private collection and is in new condition. Even at that point in his career, the attention to detail which today sets (now) Mastersmith Kevin Harvey apart is clearly visible.
The long, slender dagger ground blade is perfectly executed -- with clean, perfectly balanced grind lines. The hollow grinds accentuate the dramatic dagger grind. The copper guard is textured, fileworked, and antiqued. The handle is made from a solid piece of African blackwood. It is carved so as to swell at the palm and pommel. The dagger is accompanied by a cowhide sheath with a spring clip. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
