Description: Swedish knifemaker Michael Henningsson is a maker to watch. His knives show an exquisite attention to detail that is immediately captivating while showing off his unique vision.
The 2-1/2 inch blade features a tactical modified tanto grind that shows off his skill at the grinder. It is formed ladder pattern stainless damascus. It has smooth action and is easily opened with a single hand. The lockup is firm and satisfying.
The stainless steel handle scales are inlaid with a central section of mosaic damascus forged by Bob Eggerling. They are engraved in exquisite detail. In a playful twist, the imagery on the left side is repeated -- but in reverse, as though you are looking through a window. Nordic images are engraving throughout, including Thor, Odin, and a Viking ship.
