Description: Garry Lombard has been a full voting member of the Knifemaker's Guild of Southern Africa since 1983. He makes 15-20 knives per year and feels strongly about sole authorship work. He has won numerous awards for his knifemaking in South Africa, including winning the annual categories from the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa: Best Art Fixed Blade (3 times), Best Art Folder (2 times), and Best Overall Maker. Given his renown, it is no surprise that this boot knife is one that you won't want to put down.
The blade and full tang were formed from ATS-34 stainless steel Both the flats and the grinds are hand satin finished. The hollow grind shows off crisp grind lines. A cryogenic heat treatment ensures a keen, long lasting edge.
A blue anodized spacer is set on the full tang. Mammoth ivory scales are a light caramel tone and meet with rear twist pattern damascus bolsters in an elegant arch.
Exceptional work throughout!
