Description: Alan Warren creates a dramatic and exceptional knife. The blade is formed from PM steel. This technique of making steel results in a smaller grain structure -- and therefore a keener, longer lasting cutting edge. A hand satin finish lends an heirloom quality. The spine is hand fileworked for thumb purchase.
The handle combines orange G10 with lightning strike carbon fiber bolsters. Copper strands move through the carbon fiber weave. This type of carbon fiber was originally designed for use on fighter jets to redirect electricity. Lightning strike carbon fiber is among the hardest to find knifemaking materials. The orange in the G10 scales nicely highlights the copper strands. Mosaic pins and a lanyard hole complete the handle.
Accompanied by a very dramatic, hand tooled, hand stitched leather sheath by Alan. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
