Description: Bruce Bingenheimer makes an exceptional hunting knife - hard-working and good-looking!
The blade was forged to shape from his own damascus. By using carbon steels, Bruce ensures great edge holding. The spalted maple burl handle was stabilized so as to hold up well to outdoor use. The wood has a dramatic, swirling grain pattern, enhanced by dramatic black spalting lines - it nicely complements the steel patterns formed by the random pattern damascus. The nickel silver guard and pins complete the handle nicely. Accompanied by hand stitched and textured pouch style leather sheath. Exceptional work throughout!
