Description: This elegant folding knife by Mel Fassio immediately draws the eye. The blade is formed from 440C stainless steel. The spine is hand fileworked in a vine pattern. The sides of the blade have been hand engraved in graceful scrollwork. 416 stainless steel front and rear bolsters are dovetailed to cream toned hippo tooth scales. The natural texture of the tooth provides a sure, comfortable grip. Mel engraved the bolsters in scrollwork, a nice complement to the blade. The hippo tooth scales are set on brass liners. The backbar is hand fileworked, matching the spine. Nice work throughout!
