Description: Alan Warren, who is known for creating exceptional utility and hunting knives, has begun to experiment with different designs. Most recently, his efforts have resulted in this beautiful boot dagger. The stainless steel blade is 154CM stainless steel. By heat treating the blade to HRC 60-61, Alan has ensured that this blade will hold a keen, long lasting edge. A hand satin finish lends an heirloom quality - and this is a knife that you will certainly want to hand down through generations.
A nickel silver guard separates the blade from the dramatic stacked handle. The front spacers are comprised of mammoth ivory surrounding a thicker layer of mammoth tooth - the mammoth tooth has a stunning color variegation and is shown off to great advantage by the mammoth ivory on either side. The rear spacer is also formed from mammoth ivory and an ironwood pommel completes the handle. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
