Description: Alan Warren has created an excellent utility/hunting knife. The subtly recurved blade is formed from 154CM stainless steel. By heat treating the blade to Hrc 60-61, Alan ensures this knife takes and holds a keen, long lasting edge. The blade's hand satin finish, combined with the satisfying weight in your hand, lends this piece an heirloom quality.
A nickel silver guard separates the stacked ironwood and ivory handle from the blade. Front and rear spacers are formed from narrow sections of ivory sandwiching a piece of ironwood. The vivid color contrast enhances the classic design. The main section of handle is also ironwood, carved to swell gently at the palm for a comfortable, secure grip. Black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Brass spacers add a bold accent, matching the lighter, warm tones in the ironwood. The handle is completed with a nickel silver pommel. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
